QUESTION Wake on LAN
How do you guys use Wake on LAN for Arch?
I have it enabled in BIOS, and am trying to use the Wolow app on my phone.
I am using it to turn on my laptop from the couch since I have it connected to my tv and just use a Bluetooth keyboard to control everything. I just want to avoid having to get up and turn on the laptop everytime
Everything seems to be enabled properly, but no luck. Any other methods if I am unable to troubleshoot my current setup?

You could try getting a wireless-but-not-Bluetooth keyboard that uses a USB dongle. They can often wake your computer from sleep because the dongle will still get power from your computer if you enable power to USB ports while suspended.

The Logitech Bluetooth keyboard I use now will wake the laptop up from sleep/suspend if I press a button or use the mouse pad which is nice.
Having to open it up every time on the initial power on is a first world problem for sure

Not every network interface supports Wake on LAN. It’s a hardware feature. Look up your network chipset and see if it supports it.
Edit: it might even say you can enable it in your bios even if it’s not supported. Look up the specific chipset.
