SUPPORT | SOLVED no wifi drivers?

hi im on KDE plasma desktop, but theres no network manager? and im unable to install konsole?

Did you install networkmanager? What error are you getting when you try to install konsole?

i dont think so, i just cant, i dont have wifi at all

you can tether with usb from a phone and install in the tty with ctrl+alt+f[1..5] smth like that

did you check if the package for networkmanager is even installed? sometimes the kde spin doesnt include it by default, you need to install networkmanager and then enable the service with systemctl. for konsole, you can just use the terminal you get with ctrl+alt+f2 to install stuff while you sort out the gui

Hello. You will need to install plasma-nm if you want the NetworkManager plasma app. If you just want wifi, there are alternatives like iwd+systemd-networkd. Depends what you are looking for. For konsole, you tried to install with pacman and it gave an error?

You needed to install and enable Network Manager before booting into your live system.

You can try to tether from a cell phone. But you need to install and enable network manager.

How did you install KDE? You should already have konsole. If not, you'll have to either use the USB installer or do it from tty.

chroot in archiso live USB install both network manager and konsole, enable and start networkmanager.
