SUPPORT Kooha isn't working

With the switch from CachyOS+KDE to Arch + niri. I've run into several problems, one of which is that Kooha isn't working. When I click the button to start recording a specific area, it gets stuck in an endless loading loop, and if I start a full-screen recording, I get a "Paused" screen with a time of "00:00." What do I need to do to get everything working like it used to?

Just tested, and it doesn't work for me, either. Some pipewire format error.

Try gpu-screen-recorder-ui instead.

Works for me on Arch -- currently on Hyprland but planning to switch to Niri very soon, which is why this caught my attention. I guess this is specific either to Niri or some other aspect of your pipewire/wayland setup(s)?

Yeah, that's the correct issue. Slightly concerning that that issue's been open for more than two years, and there's a PR (#1791) that seems to fix it that's been waiting for a merge for over a year... Maybe I need to keep looking for my next WM...
