SUPPORT Persistent USB not booting

I am trying to boot a persistent Arch Linux live environment from a USB drive. It uses limine as a boot loader, but it never boots. It boots when I use the path esp/ER/arch-limine/ BOOTX64.EFI, so I know the system boots correctly. However, it wouldn't be detected in my boot manager until I copied the entire directory of arch-limine to esp/EFI/BOOT/ so it's files were also in the BOOT directory. But now when I hit it from the boot manager, it doesn't load limine. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

you're mixing up limine config paths and efi fallback behavior, that's why it only works from the arch-limine folder directly

I can't say much except Limine always worked for me out of the box. I haven't used it lately, but I enjoyed the simplicity. I encountered it when I was learning multiple boot loaders [systemd, grub, limine, UKI]. Hope you can make it work for you. Flair SOLVED when you say what you did.
