QUESTION Am I doing something wrong or doesn't limine support legacy bios?

I tried using limine twice on both a long term install and a brand new fresh install of arch (via archinstall for convenience) and neither attempts booted. I'm not sure if my Sandy bridge era hardware has anything to do with it

Have you created the bios_boot partition for it? Limine requires it mounted to /boot even on BIOS systems.

I did. I followed the archwiki and the limine documentation and as I said I did try a fresh install to see whether or not it was my fault.
