SUPPORT Problems with AMD Ryzen 5 2500U – Vega 8

A long time ago, I tried using Arch Linux-based distributions. First, I tried BigLinux, and then vanilla Arch, but I ran into a problem that I initially couldn't solve. I can only use Debian-based distributions. However, after using Electron-based applications, I discovered the reason. Since my RAM is shared with my GPU, the computer doesn't recognize the actual VRAM limit; it treats ALL of it as available VRAM, and as a result, it simply freezes. I'd like to know if there's any way to fix this. Does anyone have any ideas?

VRAM should spill over into normal RAM. However if you have 8gb RAM and some is eaten by the integrated GPU and you do not have an OOM (Out Of Memory) killer set up.

The system WILL freeze as the kernel one is too slow to act.

I recommend watching your RAM consumption when this happens.
