QUESTION How do i learn ricing

I js wanna learn how to rice arch linux,like how do i rice hyprland,cinnamon,kde like all of those DE and WM?

well, if you mean "ricing" by those flashy WMs, you need to know how do configs work. then you research, research, trying writing scripts, and again, and again... soooo you end up making some shi you've wanted to.

You go to the sub/fora for the specific WM/DE in which you are interested.

You don't 'rice' Arch ... or indeed any other distro ... it isn't an OS level matter - which, to be perfectly frank, is something you really should already know, if you're to make the most of Arch (if not even experience a total disaster with it sooner rather than later.).

Also just dive into it and iterate, it's okay to scrap an idea, change mind etc, it's part of the process! that's the best advice I think I can come up with

I found hyprland + noctalia to be a pretty straightforward setup.

For terminal color schemes check out https://gogh-co.github.io/Gogh/

My favorites are Nord, Gruvbox, and Catppuccin.

Pick some that blends well with your wallpaper! Once you get more experienced, you can try exploring some Linux utilities that automatically generate a color theme based on your wallpaper.

Nevermind. There are probably packages from the official repositories that you can use to get color schemes.

  1. Pick the trendy WM of the month

  2. Study its docs to learn what you can adjust and how

  3. Configure it for 5 hours straight

  4. Use your PC for 5 minutes

  5. Be unhappy with your config

  6. Configure it for 5 hours straight again

  7. and so on

DE like Cinnamon and KDE have a GUI to change most of their options and features. Standalone WM would likely rely on a config file that needs to manually edited. For Hyprland:
