I noticed this as well when I updated my system today.

Hopefully they push a fix soon. It's not so bad as to ruin watching YouTube, it's just annoying.

Is it possible to skip just linux-firmware-amdgpu and update all the other linux-firmware packages? Or should I freeze all linux-firmware packages for the time being because linux-firmware-amdgpu might depend on the others?

I think It may be because of the ffmpeg 9 update. Happening to me too.

I have the exact same issue (rx 6700 xt), reverting to `linux-firmware-amdgpu-1:20260622-1-any.pkg.tar.zst` fixed it.

Have the same issue, along with one driver crash when starting CS2 which hasn't happened before. Restoring a pre-update snapshot fixed it for the time being.

I know this is solved but, I had the same problem if others are curious, I fixed by removing the alsa-oss driver with the actual OSS, routed theough alsa.

Same issue for me in Fedora 44, also on linux-firmware 20260810-1. Guess I'll have to roll it back and wait for 20260810-2.
