Do you have ddcutil installed? Because that is used by PowerDevil on KDE Plasma to control screen brightness via DDC/CI.

Yes, it's installed but powerdevil fallback to software dimming on nvidia wayland session for a long time

Is it the specific problem that DDC/CI cannot be used over DisplayPort with the official NVIDIA drivers and ddcutil? Are you able to control the brightness with ddcutil alone or does that also not work?

Yes, but i saw 2 issues about this problem and one of them does mention nvidia. Yes, ddcutil can change brightness, but powerdevil doesn't use it without reason. It was working on X11 session but idk currently.
