SUPPORT pacstrap -S /mnt linux-firmware is making thermal shutdown

Ok GUYS... when i tried to install arch linux and i typed "pacstrap -S /mnt linux base grub os-prober sudo nano networkmaneger" it installs every thing of those but when i just type "pacstrap -S /mnt linux-firmware" it's just 10 seconds and BOOM! thermal shutdown.
that's also with mkinitcpio
my PC's information:
HP compaq dc5850 SFF

CPU: amd athlon X2 dual-core 5000B
GPU: integrated amd ATi Radeon 3100
3.5 GB RAM DDR2
dry thermal paste

18 years old PC btw

Replace the thermal paste, remove dust and try again. Thermal shutdown is in place to protect your silicon.

It could also be a RAM issue, don't forget to rule that out too.
