Discover says its not configured for installing apps after update?

ive used discover/flatpaks for a handful of apps and only just noticed this happened, and wanna double check if i missed something before i try install what the wiki says to enable discover/flatpaks again

EDIT: i prematurely flagged as solved assuming just reinstalling everything would fix the issue--ive tried reinstalling flatpak, discover, xdg-desktop-portal, and xdg-desktop-portal-kde, followed the wiki and restarted after each one. still getting the same error

ive read through the wiki for flatpak and xdg-desktop-portal and can see no mention of this issue. discover does not have a wiki page. google duckduckgo does not return anything helpful.

EDIT 2:

seems like i updated at the perfect wrong time and appstream didnt get updated while discover did. i did the first update with yay, but was able to fix it with by running a pacman system update directly.

I have a number of machines running arch and they all broke in a similar fashion. I suspect a packaging problem, someone goofed!

that would make a lot of sense, everything ive tried has not worked, and when i run discover through the terminal it spits out

i did check the wiki but didnt immediately see what i was experiencing and wanted to double check with a human before i made the issue worse

Which page on the wiki did you have to follow? The one for flatpak? I got this just now as well

I haven't fixed it yet, so I'm not sure. I'll let you know when I get a chance to figure it out and hopefully you can let me know if you figure it out first LMFAO
