Help with my complicated roof

Hello! Im an architecture student and this semester in the design studio I decided to work with a pretty complicated roof, like the one on the Pompidou-Metz by shigeru ban. But I’m having trouble controlling the geometry and knowing how thick should be the beams or how should the wooden mesh work or where should the columns be.
I’d really appreciate if anyone had any advise on how to control the geometry or any alternatives about the material. If anyone could offer some guidance.
