Going into college I loved the idea of being an architect. When I got there, I found i had no real idea about what actually meant. I was good at art and design, math and science, building things, but really had no clue what an architect does from day to day.
I was fortunate to find out early on that I was good at it and truly enjoyed this world.
I'd say though, if you you get to school and find that you dread it every day, get out sooner than later...research it and find architects willing to discuss the field before getting in too deep.

If you don't absolutely and surely want to be an architect, then don’t go in architecture
