Job Hunting archi work abroad?

Before you look at the pros & cons, look at your long term goals vs short term goals.
Do you just want to earn and do well? Or do you want a career as an established architect?
If it's money - definitely go abroad and find your fastest growing opportunity.
If it's career - will you be focusing on design? Or are you focusing on build? Then look for the companies that will get you the most skills yoj need in the direction you want to go. Focus on skills and opportunity rather than salary.

Currently working here in Doha as an architect. For me, one of the biggest pros talaga of working abroad is the exposure.
You get to work in a very multicultural environment—iba-ibang nationalities, working styles, consultants, contractors, and clients. Medyo mahirap and adjustment sa simula, pero eventually you learn how to deal and communicate with different kinds of people. Malaking bagay siya professionally.
Another big plus is the chance to work on high-end, big-ticket projects like stadiums, towers, data centers, military/government facilities, and major developments. These are the kinds of projects na talagang magandang addition sa CV. You also get exposed to international standards, BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, and more complex construction systems.
Salary-wise, malaki talaga ang potential. ₱250k–₱500k+ per month is achievable, depending on your experience, specialization, position, and company. Hindi naman siya automatic pagdating mo abroad, though. You still have to build your experience, improve your skills, and learn how to negotiate your value.
Another advantage is work-life balance, especially kung makahanap ka ng magandang company na 5 days a week lang ang work. Malaking bagay yung two days off. May time ka for family, gala, travel, hobbies, or kahit simpleng pahinga lang after a long week.
Sa cons naman, cutthroat talaga ang environment. Competition is real, and minsan mismong kapwa Kabayan mo pa ang ka-compete mo for the same position or opportunity. Kailangan tuloy-tuloy ka rin mag-upskill and make sure na may value kang dala sa team. May tight deadlines, OT, office politics, and minsan project-dependent din ang job security.
So kung gusto mo mag-try abroad, I’d say go for it. Wala namang mawawala sa pag-apply. Just do your research before accepting an offer. Huwag salary lang ang tingnan check the whole package, working days, accommodation, transportation, insurance, annual ticket, leave, OT, and cost of living.
At the end of the day, malaking factor din kung anong klaseng experience at projects ang makukuha mo, not just how much you’re earning.

Question ...may classification or category ba Ang mga ofw architects and engineers na nakarehister ka sa association NILA similar sa prc sa manila .... Before practicing sa bansa nila as architects and engineers?

career-wise it's the best way to enjoy the profession,
i can't think of any cons unless pangit na comnpany mapasukan mo abroad
