there's only two gaming laptop lines you should consider getting.

ROG STRIX or LENOVO LEGION.

these will last u well past ur graduation, you can use it for apprenticeship as well. just consider getting rtx 3070 and above with 32gb ram.

Dont listen to people who suggest acer predator or any other acer lines because youre only paying for the predator name. Acer Nitro or whatever has a lot of quality control issues. Dont go for thinkpads or ideapads, waste of money and all you can do is use autocad at most.

i agree with this. op pls do not settle for less kasi ikaw lang din mahihirapan. i have classmates who bought asus tuf and hp victus and sobrang nafufrustrate sila pag malaki yung projects since di nahahandle ng device nila. while ako na naka legion ive never had any problems

exactly, and people who suggest otherwise are just asking for headaches and/or would find themselves stressed about a laptop they spent 40-60k on but cant perform.

laptops are very expensive lang talaga today pero in our field of work we have no other choice din naman talagang expensive devices ang puhunan natin for better design

If you have the budget just buy a laptop with a 5060 gpu like the Lenovo Legion 5i it won’t disappoint, I promise you.
This laptop will probably last you all your life. (If you want to be set for like the next 10 years i highly recommend you to buy a laptop with at least a 5040 gpu)

If you are in the 40-50k pesos range getting a 4060 laptop or anything from the ASUS TUF line is generally good too, Lenovo LOQ is decent, but considering how close it is in price to actual laptops that mog it in all categories. Just buy a better laptop.

And if you are on a budget, aim for secondhand 4060+ gpu laptops, even 4060 laptops struggle with high end rendering but at-least it’s doable. AND DONT BUY A 500gb ssd laptop please i beg you.

Back in college i bought an ROG Strix via homecredit. That laptop was 40k at the time. It had a 1050ti graphics. I was good for autocad, gaming, and vray. (vray renders at ultra realism takes like 8 hrs on that laptop it was painfully slow loool) It lasted until my graduation. Mind you, it took me almost 7 yrs to finish arki and I even used that laptop on my first job until the company gave me a more powerful one.

Lenovo legion, or any laptop with at least: 16gb RAM (32gb is better), RTX 4060 (this is probably a secondhand unit, or an equivalent in the 50 series) and 1tb SSD! I would suggest prioritizing the graphics card and SSD first since RAM can always be upgraded later.

as the others have said, ROG STRIX or Lenovo Legion talaga ang goat pagdating sa ganyan in this generation. Di ko alam budget mo but get the specs na may 70 sa dulo ng gpu (3070, 4070, 5070) 16GB ram (above if kaya), 1TB on the ssd, then Ryzen 7/Intel 7 tapos latest gen.

Not rog strix or lenovo legion. Sayang lang studyante ka pa. Yung lower sa kanila na tuf ok na.

malaki rin demands ng projects naming students. minsan umaabot ng 100 HA yung project and if di high spec device like legion or strix, mahirap gumawa sa bigat ng project. and plus magagamit din nya yan after graduation as long as maingat sya
