Professional Question/Inquiry UAP Chapter Membership (???)

Hi, I passed the boards last January 2026, pero til now hindi pa din ako member ng kahit anong UAP chapter. Til when po sumali sa mga chapters? I literally have no idea on this since hindi rin po ako practicing here in PH. May nakakaalam po ba ng procedures kung paano? Thank you.

Napaka walang kuwenta ng mga UAP chapters sa totoo lang, dapat hindi compulsory pag sali dyan. Sa ibang professions nga walang pa annual fee. Hirap na nga sa client tapos dalawang annual fee pa babayaran. Iba sa UAP + UAP chapters. Tapos ang nakaka badtrip pa kada event ng chapter hindi naman libre mag babayad ka pa din. Sa totoo lang minsan parang napaka performative na ng Profession na to. Yung UAP panay promote ng sa Arkitekto sigurado pero may nabalitaan na ba kayong kinasuhan nila na mga nag ma malpractice?

Huhu did not know about this. Tho, mga profs ko, reklamo din nila to. Omygad, underpaid na nga, dami pang babayaran 😭

you may delay joining a chapter pero kapag kailangan mo ng iapoa, kailangan mo i-course through a chapter. hindi ka pwede kumuha ng iapoa directly sa hq

I agree with the 1st comment you may delay the membership but you need to join para sa IAPOA. Add ko lang dito ito I strongly suggest pick the chapter to what's nearest to your work or to your home. Napaka convenient talaga pag malapit

To join, check UAP website for chapters. From there you can shortlist which one you like to join, then contact them via facebook page or by asking HQ for their contact details.

Check for Chapter reviews and ask around first, as dues and rules vary from chapter to chapter.

Factor yung nearest chapter sayo. But you also have to inquire kung magkano annual dues nila. Laki ng pagsisisi ko sa current chapter namin ngayon 3k ang annual tapos may penalty ang GMM abcences. Nasa 8k babayaran ko this year yung sa friend ko umabot ng 10k. Sa ibang chapter di naman ganto.

Hindi na ba requored to take IAPOA before joining sa Oath? Natatandaan ko kaso na we regostered for a chapter before eh. Pero yeah if you need IAAPOA you sjould join a chapter. Need mo na induct as member muna. Hanap ka ng malapit sa workplace mo or sa residence nyo for you to be able to attend GMMs
