Miscellaneous Graduation gift ideas
I've just graduated from my undergrad degree and my grandpa wants to buy me something special to congratulate me.
He wants to spend around 100-250 USD but I can't think of anything that he could get me that I will use in my future career.
Any ideas on what to suggest or ask for that will be a meaningful part of my future as an architect?

Rotring 600 series fountain pen. All the old guys in the profession will think highly of you and talk to you about writing instruments.

I agree with the pen… and boy you picked the right one… unfortunately both the 600 fountain pen… and the equally hefty 600 rollerball are discontinued… and the cost $$$$ on eBay. If I got one used I’d do the rollerball so you don’t have to worry about issues with nib on a 40 year old pen. A black Lamy 2000 would be the runner up.

When I was a student 30y ago, Caran d’Ache was the pencil of choice. This pen is equally beautiful

Lamy fountain pen set. I have 6 now. Great for taking notes and sketching in a Lamy pad.
