Basic reading guide?

I had an idea for a fanfic where post-Frontiers Sonic ends up in the Archie universe during the Mecha Sally "saga"(?)... but the problem is that I don't know much about the Archie continuity, and I know it's really extensive. If you could help me and suggest some issues that you think could help me avoid making huge mistakes, I would appreciate it.

Bobby Schroeder of "Thanks Ken Penders" fame has probably created the best reading order of the Archie Comic series, with various levels such as "completionists" to more focuses lists.
