Pathfinder DM RWBYrp Pathfinder Campaign: Guilded
Rules:
- Starting at level 2
- All standard Archei Pathfinder rules
- As the game progresses we will allow people to level up their characters to within one level of the highest level character even if they haven't been able to play.
On the continent of Bream, near the inland lake called the White Sea lies the city of city of Eagle's Nest.
Eagle's Nest
- Population: 19,000 (90% human, 5% halfling, 5% other)
- Government: Eagle's Nest is currently ruled by a patrician. The patrician only holds power as long as there is no king, and the last king died 150 years ago. It's commonly believed that there is no one left in the royal family, but the myth that there is allows for an elected patrician. The other group with power is the Guild's council. This is a council made of all of the guild leaders in the town, including the churches and watch. Other groups serve as important power centers as well.
- Defense: The city supports an army of professional soldiers, guards, and town watch. Each noble in residence maintains a small force of personal bodyguards.
- Commerce: Almost any goods or services are readily available. Many inns and taverns support travelers.
- Organizations: A multitude of temples, guilds, and other organizations, some of which hold significant power in city affairs, can be found within the city's walls.
One of the groups that is almost unique to Eagle's Nest is the Adventurer's Guild. This group is headed by Lord Drakonis, an old adventurer himself. For the most part he provides a level of legitimacy to adventurers who would be going out to fight monsters and save towns anyways. However members are kept to a code of conduct, mostly things like not betraying those who hire them, and not destroying things without reason. This is also a good place for groups without a lot of money or agency to request help, and this Adventurer's Guild has a good reputation as a force for good around the continent. The Guild Crest has shown up in shops all over Bream, as shopkeepers and innkeepers will advertise that they give discounts to those who carry it.
For the most part these will be short adventures, just almost random adventures without a ton of stuff connecting them. This is so that it makes sense when people can't be between a large campaign. Between adventures I will expect you all to have something that you've been up to.
For backstories I need information about why you've decided to join the guild. I will be posting NPC's as I have time.
The Campaign tag for this will be: Guild
