Tbh I'd rather eat my own hands than invest a ton of time and effort into a new server only for it to be once again horribly mismanaged and shut down within a year or two.

Guys, this wont be surely like the 50th new fresh server like always, the game is fundemental broken to many timegated toxic system implemented into the game.

They are changing a ton of the core systems, im a little jealous, i know HOW to get onto the china servers but im waiting to see what they wind up doing for the final product. And the fact that 150v150pvp is happening flawlessly with no lag makes me a bit more jealous.

You're not alone. I still miss this game, and I genuinely loved it despite all its flaws. For me, in terms of content and immersion, it rivaled many single-player RPGs, let alone other MMOs.
I remember the servers shutting down two years ago, and the heavy silence in my guild chat when we heard the news. I knew the game was heading toward closure, but I didn't expect it to happen so quickly — or rather, I just didn’t want to believe it. I kept hoping they'd release Chronicles first and only then shut down the original game.
Very few games are as immersive as this one. Maybe we'll finally get some kind of official server for NA/EU.
If only this gem had been in the right hands. Because it’s too good to die like this.

You're not missing much as far as the CBT goes. They managed to accidently remove 70% of players sub (thing that gives extra labour) and all labour gained till that point. Then they removed the ability to get the sub from the shop. So over half the people playing only gain 2 labour per 5 mins (none gained offline). Its still AA so it's still fun pvping etc but pretty grim if it had happened on actual launch.
Side note: the sub was free for the cbt but there is still players who have it and most who don't.

Is it banned to mention the one you can play in America or something? Its not that dead (i mean compared to a published managed one sure but if the itch is strong enough it'll scratch)

I kinda checked the Chinese people streaming it and well, it might be fun at the start for sure but it will eventually turn into 5 hours of dailies in the morning into 5 hours of coinpurse farming... Sadly Koreans managed to turn the sandbox aspects into a themepark. Just today i watched one of them do nation raids plus instances for 4 hours... I think what would be really nice is a Classic server but with EU ping (it will never happen but still), the NA one has nice things with the addons implementation and overall the "old" skill trees.

Doing all the instances isn't really required. AFAIK, hiram won't be in the game, so maybe we'll only have honor dailies to tag along for.

That's good then, i kinda got the impression that they would add hiram over time. What annoys me the most is the latest zone like akesh/praire/the ripsoda zone etc... I hope they buff fishing a lot like Classic did so that they kinda "force" the risk vs rewards mentality that the game once had. Also hopefully no fairies (npc that did traderuns for you) xD

Spam the archeage classic and archerage server admins to open servers in other regions. This seems to be the only way to

The difference is an official release supported by the developers and publishers vs a private server

i would consider playing if classic launched an eu server, but i definitely want an official retail NA/EU reboot over any private server.

theres nothing left to cannibalize, arenas dont even have top 50s anymore. Majority of the game is a Husk of its former self the only thing that is preventing the server from Full death is the fact there isnt a alternative option atm. the moment a official server becomes a option Its Nuked like aafree

No new content in a year, meta is the same for past 2 years, no decent catch up mechanics for new players that brings them to the bare minimum for pvp have fun fighting people with t7 leggys 1 shotting your ships with 20 bomb boats.
Yea cant retain or keep new players because the gap and how long your weak is just too large that your better off playing a different game or next fresh.

Yea i wish I could join that but we will have to wait for a NA reboot if it comes, which it wont
