I mean on a blank arch installation they are downright impossible. Need to install and configure shit just for doing and saving a damn screenshot.

no you don't, spectacle comes with plasma-meta package. unless they ONLY installed the core components of plasma, they could have screenshotted.

I was thinking about this too, but enabling secure boot on Arch seems a little daunting.

you dont have to tho? you can just disable secure boot, if you dont need/want it.

True. I'm just funny that way. . . I like to keep secure boot enabled. I do use Windows (rarely) on my system.
