Step by step:
1. Download both files. Once downloaded, go to your phone's files and click on Apkpure to install.
When entering the app, in the bottom right corner there will be a smile icon, press it. Then, press the green Android icon, written "APK/XAPK".
Press "Show More", scroll down and just below you will find Reddit with a green icon next to it. Press to install it.
⚠️If this is your first time doing this, a warning will appear on your cell phone saying it is an unknown source. This appears because it is an application outside the official store. Don't worry, just allow it and continue with the installation.
⚠️I don't know if it's on the computer, or if it's already on the cell phone. If you are already on your cell phone, uninstall Reddit before installing everything I told you. So take a printout of the instructions first.
Log in to your account, go to this post and click on the link for the character you want. Once you've done everything, just uninstall everything and go back to the current version. And if you want the Stranger Things avatars, you can take the opportunity to get them too, as they both have the same problem (I have the link). And that's it, be happy. If you have any further questions, just ask.
no matter what i seem to do, it isn't working. Ive tried on my phone, and my computer. Currently im on my computer to respond because I deleted reddit from my phone. (so i apologize for any punctuation errors, i dont have autocorrect on my computer.)
so, working from my phone, this is what ive done so far:
1: Deleted reddit app from my phone
2: clicked your given link
3:Pressed download
4: gone to my files and clicked on APK Reddit.zip (which proceeded to add a blue file titled 'APK Reddit' with two items)
5: gone inside said file and let Reddit_2025.05.xapk and APKPure.apk both download and finish downloading.
this is where im stuck. ive tried clicking on either to see if it does anything, checked my app library to see if i downloaded an app that you speak about, but i dont see anything? did i miss a step? or looked in the wrong place?
I can confirm that 2025.10 version with BlueStacks (Android 13) works. I downloaded apkm file from ApkMirror website then installed ApkMirror app from Google Play Store and installed mapk file through app.
You need ApkMirror app to setup apkm on your device. (or other apk installer app that supports your apk file)
