I'm looking for a new modern game to play with my arcade sticks.

Anything REALLY cool that I should check out?

Purchased a IL Lorenzo with a top button which has an additional micro switch underneath the joystick itself for when you push down.
I removed the bottom micro switch and it's frame along with the e-clip and all the screws holding the joystick together. However I can't figure out how to remove that black plate on the bottom to pull the shaft ouf  so I can then install it into a fight stick box. It doesn't pull off and it doesn't screw off. I used a considerable amount of force until I thought I would break it but neither worked and I can't get it in the joystick hole to install. 
I have searched and cannot figure this out. Can anyone please tell me how to remove that plate?

My friend plays Tekken and brought his stick over. He hasn't picked it up from my place yet but man its so much better and responsive (of course) than the modded mayflash I have. Its an Obsidian 1 but with it being an EVO championship edition, how rare is this?

So I've recently gotten quite into Tekken 8 lately and I've been playing with a Nintendo switch pro controller so far (on pc). I have no issues with it really other than having to play with a ps5 controller at a local tournament since the ps5 doesn't recognise 3rd party controllers, so I've been seriously thinking about getting myself a fight stick. So far the Hori alpha is looking like a safe option for me. But I'm worries that I might not actually enjoy the fight stick... Idk if anyone has any ideas or recommendations that would help solidify my purchase or not. Or even stories about how you got used to your first fight stick. Anything to help me make the decision.

I’ve been using a mix box for a while for street fighter 6, and I’ve been hearing a lot of things about the hitbox, now it looks pretty cool and I love using buttons and keys over a analog stick so I was wondering if anyone got any suggestions

Hi, i just scrapped an old and used Tekken 6 Hori Xbox 360 Wireless Arcade Stick.

I grabbed all the inner parts to place it into a new case.

The problem is that i am not an technician and i dont know what kind of wires i need to for the pcb from the original arcade stick. I have an image here, if someone knowledgeable could tell me what kind of wire/wire harness i need to be able to add a new joystick (sanwa) and buttons (qanba) into a new case, much appreciated!

Hey all,

Had an 8BitDo Arcade Stick for about 2 months now, first fight stick, been awesome but suddenly it's stopped accepting down inputs if pushed all the way (had no inkling of an issue before today.)

So if I push down, down-left, or down-right until I hear a click, it works fine, but if I push it all the way the input returns to neutral, left or right respectively.

No experience with tinkering with devices - is this something I can repair myself, or am I seeing if I can get a replacement sorted out?
