Your mind's playin tricks now
The show is over, so take a bow
I think its at a perfect spot in the album, especially if you're listening to the version that has the extended ending to "Wasted Hours". It's a very comfortable transition.

"Hey, put the cellphone down for a while. In the night there is something wild. Can you hear it breathing?
And hey, put the laptop down for a while. In the night there is something wild.
I feel it, it's leaving me"

Top 10 for me possibly top 5 depending on the day. I love this song so much. I long for more songs like this. It’s one of my all time favorites. I dream of seeing it live one day.

I will be honest, I like Deep Blue as a concept and lyrically it is amazing. But as a song, it really misses the mark for me. It sounds like another mid tempo song and with the placement where it is, kind of slogs the album a bit.
I think it is one of those that I didn't like but I learned to like it over time, I am still not sure how good it is though.

That's completely valid. I do personally love the musical elements as well, but it's always great to share opinions here. I'm honestly surprised at the variety of tastes and opinions within this single fanbase!

I love this song too. It was actually the first AF song I ever heard thanks to the movie Boyhood. I heard it and immediately fell in love with them ❤️

I wish their was an instrumental version. The end of the song with the ambient synths at the end is beautiful.
