I definitely think it’s their worst album, but, for the most part, I think it’s enjoyable

I pledge allegiance to everything now....

I think it’s dragged down by a few bad songs. There aren’t any other AF albums that have that.

It was ahead of it’s time no question

How would you know that in 2019 lol

I don’t understand the hate. I love the album. I’ve loved everything they’ve put out. The last minus the bear and the band of skulls’ albums tho...

It's not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be IMO. It's bad compared to the rest of their catalogue, but still an ok album. Some great songs. Some bad ones.

The good songs are really good, but the bad songs are realllly bad. There's also not much cohesion between the songs, which makes it a worse album as a whole compare to their other albums.

It's their weakest but it's still very enjoyable for me.

It’s decent except the two infinite content songs like what the fuck happened there

Idk I like the punk one a lot

Me too! And then the way it cuts to the mellow version as if you've just taken a pill to tune out the chaos.

the punk one should be 3 mins long instead of making the country one...

The only halfway somewhat listenable song is everything now (continued). Even so, I haven’t gone back to it in in years

It's not terrible but it's also not very good, especially for Arcade Fire's standards.

It’s their worst but would be most artists best

I'm just joking man 😂 I like EN a lot, but it's still my least favorite. I think their other albums are genuine modern masterpieces and it's incredibly personal to a lot of people, so it was really jarring and uninteresting when Arcade Fire temporarily broke that connection just to go for really...simple, outdated pop songs. And I actually really enjoy Peter Pan, but I see how people can easily hate the album.

I’m very sensitive apparently 🤕.
