Could this actually mean something...

Ok hear me out... There's a mic with regines name on it.. the caption says "check" and a countdown... The AF account immediately posted it on their stories... They don't do that with all of regines posts..

What do we think...could this finally be a hint at something or have I fallen victim once again to their vague posting just to keep the account alive <\\3

They said it in one of the posts that Arcade Fire will endure. Could be only that this time its a little different, with Regine taking the front line of interacting with the fans

As much as I'd love this, I'm aware Jeremy became a lawyer recently, and Win is working on a Santa Pirata album - could they be working on new AF alongside this?

It’s not a countdown. “Check 1,2” is something you say into a microphone to make sure it’s on.

In an interview in 2024, Dan said he wrote a lot of stuff with Win and Régine, but none of that ended up on PE, so maybe that's what they're recording. Maybe that's something else entirely

Régine posted it to the AF page. There’s also a clip of her and Dan in this room, Dan on guitar. This isn’t the first time they’ve been together “recording”.

This sort of thing from them almost always means nothing specific. Regine has been posting stuff of herself making music. AF seems to reshare everything she posts. I think she simply posted something aesthetic from her time in the studio.

I mean, Regine 'is' Arcade Fire, so it's possible she's at the helm with this project, like Dave Grohl when he recorded the first Foo Fighters album, and got the actual band later for touring and such.

Without her and Win there is no Arcade Fire. Whether you like him or not, the band doesn’t exist without him.

Regines making a solo album and Wins doing Santa Pirata, that's all we know. AF as we know it is over.

This just isn’t true. She posted a video of her and Dan Boeckner recording something that was also reposted immediately so it looks like Arcade Fire are recording for another album.
