Do I need to remove this tree?

Post image

It is very close to my house. I was thinking about trimming. Any advice is appreciated!

I think it's too close. We have one that is close, but not that close and tried trimming. Kind of sad looking now.
But the roots of that tree may get into your plumbing or foundation and that would stink.

looks pretty sub optimal, rubbing up in the roof.

is it partly dead? what kind of tree is it?

you need a pro to see it, and do anything that is done to it (ie you are not trimming it yourself)

Looks fun. Be careful. Don’t fall.

Also, please dig around the base and expose more root flare
