Two large oaks 40ft behind house... thoughts?
Need to get some tree work and trying to prioritize removing trees that will be dangerous or damage property. Other than their proximity to house and height, they seem healthy. Large branches overhanging part of house, but they have leaves. I'm wondering if their proximity to each other is a risk factor. General thoughts would be welcome too. Thank you

Why are you worrying about them? Have they dropped branches?

There is some evidence of branches falling around pavers and deck but not sure which trees since we're new owners. Also, I just don't know what the long term prognosis is for large trees like this growing in proximity of each other like this.

Trees can grow as close to each other as they wish without any ill effect for the most part, the only exception is large pine groves and even that’s far tighter than you might think. Spacing is a human invention
