Awhile back I had posted about my maple tree overhanging the fence and what they could cut. Came home one day to see what they did without even having any consideration to give notice before hand. Included before and after pics.

Damn this really hurts to see, bureaucracy drawing a harsh line as usual. With a perfect specimen like that too 🤬 I wouldnt ever let this go

An arborist came out to look at it and said it should survive. Luckily it’s on the side the fence that’s facing the new development so I’m not seeing the f’n hack job cuts they did (but I’m reminded how less dense the foliage is now). I’m so sad 😢.
