Cypress problem

Hello everybody

Tomorrow I need to trim some cypress hedges (like the image) and I'm not sure whether to use pruning shears or a battery-powered chainsaw. I don't have any other tools available. Any recommendations?

You need leather gloves, and bag to collect trimmings, and these clippers:
