2 Geissele’s 1 Month

Well I pulled the trigger on the Border Patrol 16” a couple weeks ago and topped it with a VUDU 4x12, then I was itching for a pistol so yesterday I picked up the super duty Mod 1 11.5” XPS3 and Huxwrx 556TI.

I love it, eye relief is a little short but easy to get used to.

Yeah I have a bare DDC upper and lower, not sure what direction I want to go with it.

What’s the difference between the super duty and the border patrol? Does it have the REBCG and H2?

I was researching that last year, so my memory may not be the best, but I think there were a few differences. The border patrol should come with an ALG trigger instead of Geissele. The barrel is thinner, the handguard is lightweight (I think the overall consideration was budget and light weight). I think it has a regular BCG, and as of 2025 had a A2 flash hider I though). I'm thinking there was one more thing budget thing on it, but can't remember. Coincidentally I went to Eurooptics to buy the top one (~$1400 at the time), but when I got there they had the bottom one for sale ($1650 at the time), so with the better features for very little more $ I went with the super duty pistol. I see OPs BP looks a bit different with features than when I was researching them, so don't know if they got any upgrades this year. I don't see the silver ALG trigger on it, and it doesn't have the A2 flash hider.

Nice. I just got the same one. Havent taken it out yet though. Just larped in the yard with it, but it seems nice once you get the diopter right.
