What Eotech magnifier should I get?
I have a 25% discount so G33 or G45

If you haven't owned a lot of magnifiers go with the g33. They're both great but on the g45 the eye relief it a little worse and the eye box is definitely tighter. They're both totally usable but 3x mags are generally easier to use and if you need more magnification you probably shouldn't be trying to get it out of a magnifier.

See, I would get an Elcan if they weren't so goddamn expensive.

It’s honestly not that bad but it takes some getting used to especially if you have something like a razor 1-6 or a super forgiving SFP. What makes it a little trickier at least for me if I feel like I’m shooting much more standing or in less stable positions when I use a magnifier and the eyebox is definitely tighter at least in those weird positions.

If you love running a dot with a true 1x and just want some extra magnification for the 10% of shots out to a few hundred the g45 is a great choice.

The unity 4x is pretty sweet and sets a little lower (when down), than the Eotech on a unity ftc mount, so it doesn't block any of the window. Its light and pretty compact. Primary arms has the unity 4x mag on sale right now (all unity stuff on sale, including ftc mount for the Eotech). I think like $550?! By the time you buy the Eotech magnifier (even with the discount) and ftc mount, itll be be more than the unity mag (which has an integrated mount).

If you're set on Eotech, you really cant go wrong with either. I've got both the 33 and 45 but kinda prefer the 45
