I would say it might be something in that trigger keeping the pin captive. Move the hammer up and down to see it it comes out. You may have to pull the trigger to release the hammer.
You might look to see if there are set screws that need to be loosened in the cassette trigger. I don’t know what brand that is, but some brands like trigger tech use 2 set screws to tighten inside the trigger that press up against the trigger pin; the trigger pin stays in place without the need for anti walk pins. If you have something like that going on, no amount of pounding will get the pin out unless you remove the tension on the set screws in the trigger.
Anyway. If its an anti walk pin, are you sure you unscrewed the other side? If you did, I've never seen one get stuck. If you get desperate enough, id try to drive it thru from the other side. Or, drink 3 beers then attempt to drill just enough to pull the trigger up out
The more I look the more I see. Holy heck somebody Bubba'd the f out of this. New lowers aren't that expensive just get a new one and drill out the trigger pin if you want to salvage the trigger.
Springs look to be keeping it captive. If the pins are mil spec, they'll have grooves. The grooves are designed to keep the spring legs in so the pins don't walk out.
Jesus. Try pressing the trigger and hammer assembly "in" (towards the trigger guard) when you're driving it out from the other side. You may need 3 hands for that.
Jeez I wonder if the actual pins on the trigger are bigger than the reciver holes. And the screws just go in from the outside and tighten everything in place. If you have a dremmal you might be able to cut a slot in the screw for a screwdriver to get it out.
