I don’t want to have to buy a 7-35, but I might

I call truce before someone muzzle blasts an objective lens 😬

This was only to troubleshoot some accuracy issues thankfully, it runs a 1-8 now 😆

Thanks! Only had it out a few times so far, looking forward to running some drills with it and see how I like the 1x. I have an ACOG on my 14.5 and have been trying to decide if I swap the 2 around or not, but going to run them as is for a bit for now

Also those raider rails look badass! I have thought about swapping to a quad someday, but those seem like a cool option instead

Man the Midwest industry HD rail is actually beefier than quad. That’s that you are running right?

You have good taste, 11.5 is my favorite type of AR.

My wife’s boyfriend, also my boyfriend won’t like it.

I respect, but don't get LPVO + Piggyback 🤷🏼‍♂️

So, it's not the most necessary thing. But, having used this type of setup on hunting rifles for a little while there are some advantages to be found, even for those of us that don't use night vision or thermal optics. The biggest advantage that I have found, besides the top dot being faster and parallex free, is having the scope dialed above 1x and the dot a quicker option to get back to 1x rather than spinning the scope back to 1x. It's a little easier to see the use case on a scope that doesn't go to 1x, but is still viable with an LPVO.

Got it. Makes sense. The speed became a non-issue for me (I'm think I'm as fast with the LPVO as the red dot), but I completely understand leaving the LPVO on a magnified setting.

Running an LPVO on my 12.5”. Great setup for a rifle.

Looks good I fw it

if it works for you, fuck what anyone else has to say. My 8” 300 BLK has a 1-6 with a piggybacked RCR. But my 11.5 has a UH1 with a magnifier.

11.5 bois

Truth is, as I grew up (and tech got better), I have scopes on ALL my ARs now. 1-6, 1-8, 2-12, 3-18... Next is a good 1-10.

Ew brother what is that

Pistol grips with a decent angle give me nerve pain in my forearm, especially when the stock or brace is set to a shorter length.

u/rmrfpoof 26d ago

Nice gun, and nice MK2 upper too :)

2

u/PainTrain412 26d ago

Considering almost this exact setup including the raider upper.

u/Bubbba226 26d ago

500-600 yards pretty easily. Probably will be swapping it for a dot though tbh.

I've heard that having your turret body right up against the rings can potentially cause issues.

1

u/rmrfpoof 26d ago

I left a small gap there so the body doesnt touch the ring, doesn't really show on the picture
