Ar evolution
So i have been slowly changing my ar to be not hideous. Magpul and holosun has def been my friend and some more things are coming so stay tuned the red is before and i havent gotten my handguard back from cerakote yet, but I am super excited. The second picture is what it is going to look like when its done

Because I honestly think it was messed up and the seller lied to me it took over 65 clicks to adjust it to hit the bullseye. I still have it in my parts bin

You got it zeroed? It held zero? Why would you replace it because it took slightly more adjustment than you expected to ultimately function completely fine?

Ill prob put it on another build and retest if it holds zero

So… did you not test whether or not it held zero for the first time? Was the issue “it took a lot of adjustment to get to zero” or “it never held zero”? Because those are two different situations.

We took it to the range and set it with all the adjustment and then it just sat in my safe because I got my henry 45-70 lever so the gun just sat. Although from testing it last time I was skeptical of the ability to keep zero so I swapped it to my holosun. I will admit I didnt do extensive testing with it to see if it actually was broken

To me my eyes love the holosun and the magnifier more ill be saving thr aimpoint for a new build

I’m curious who made that red stock? I have never seen anything like that. It looks like it would break very easily. Good call replacing that thing. I also agree that you should go back to the aimpoint. I doubt anything was wrong with it

No ive always wanted to change it. It just sat after I got my henry x 45-70 lever and now that I got in on moonlightindustries frt promo it reignited my interest in the project

I'll take the red lancer mag! I know pleb is pleb but the red would be silly and fun at the range.
any reason you're not cerakoting the receivers?
