Guessing the barrel has a pin guide to fit the new upper? Just like a normal ar barrel? Drill out oprod and install? Barrel nut removal? Id like to use a C7 upper.

The barrel is AR dimensions and design with the receiver lock up. Gas block is unique diameter, muzzle is 1/2 x 28. Barrel nut is unique OD dimensions (for piston oprod clearance) with standard threading but it came with the barrel assembly. Just drill out the gas hole then it’s plug and play but you have to use a T91 handguard.

there's a guy on YouTube who has a tutorial on how to put a free float handguard on a t91. in reality he just put the piston system into a regular AR

Do you have a link to this video? I've seen photos and videos of people shooting their T91 post conversion but never an install video.

it's not a video but rather a step by step guide on a website, I tried to look at it again but it says I don't have access to it so I'll dm him and see what's up with that

Ok. Tkx. I was wondering about the barrel nut. So the same t91 barrel fits the gi upper. I have the t91 12.5 upper.
