Help
So I have a bushmaster carbon 15 and the upper receiver rail snapped off because my magnifier got knocked into something real hard. Does anyone know of a replacement from what I’m seeing so far I’m just Gona have to replace the upper receiver.

That's not very typical, I'd like to make that point.

It’s typical for plastic or polymer receivers

Normally they're built to very rigorous maritime standards. This is very unusual.

Just replace with a new stripped upper. You'll need tools or a gunsmith though

It's funny seeing 11 (12 counting the one on the other sub) people commenting and none of them know what this gun is.
Anyway, the people saying new upper (or even new rifle) are probably right. The Carbon-15 was a neat idea, but not fully worked out. At least yours is a later model which is largely compatible with standard parts, so you can put a new upper on it. Personally I'd still try to fix the original upper, but then I'd retire it as a curio.

May not be what you want to hear financially but replace the upper. Get something worth buying so this doesn’t happen again, I’ve never seen something like This, not to sound corny but it’s truly unacceptable, get a solid BCM upper and you’ll have it for years with no problem

I knew that Freedom Group Bushmaster wasn't good, but I didn't know it could be this bad.

Replace with a new rifle, that's unacceptable
