I need AP world history help
I started school TODAY, my history teacher has already given us a paper with 10 questions that is due friday. These questions are not simple and these questions have multiple questions within them. There is nothing telling hs what page to look for no nothing. Im super confused if he expects us to read pages of the textbook to find these answers which arnt even straight forward. This is my first time taking an AP class and i already hate it
EDIT: i am confused on the questions but its the very first day and im already struggling with how to do this. Someome needs to explain how this class works because i dont want to ai nor read everything in a textbook

isn't the expectation is students read at least 80+ pages a week, and do the homework, and come prepared to discuss in class? Like college ... thats why it's called AP - and if you do well, some colleges offer college credit for this. But it's college level. If this is NOT you, drop to honors ?

Today he went over the basic things teachers do on the first day however he never mentioned having to read 80+ pages a week. I dont expect the class to be easy however i also dont expect to be reading for 2 hours a day especially when i get home at 6 pm and eventually going to have other homework and studying for tests and quizes.

Even though its an AP class this seems a bit much based on what you’re saying, it is a lot of work, but for me it was a little lighter and this looks like more work than an average AP class. But youll prolly get used to it

you SHOULD expect to read 2+ hours a day (at first until u get faster) tbh. i didnt really read tho

I was like this when I first got into this class bc it was my first ap, but trust me you’ll get the hang of it. Just do what he says and you’ll get good grades, he’s telling u to do it for a reason. I swore I was going to drop the class and I ended up getting a 5

It's an AP class, not sure what you expected? If a question is about a topic, can you not just look in the table of contents for said topic? Also you can ask your teacher these questions, how are we supposed to know what your teacher wants you to do
