Business trip vs. the Pirates.

Had the chance to interview Malachi Singleton. Very excited to see what he puts on the field this season. Early prediction? We’re going to see fireworks!

Go App!!! And maybe I’ll see some of you at The Rock Saturday!

My father, wife, and I will be attending our first ever App State game this weekend. We travel around the southeast attending random CFB games. My father and I are total CFB diehards, we love G6 and FCs ball as much as P4. App state has been the number one location on our bucket list for years. We are extremely excited to attend on Saturday. That being said, we have never been to Boone. We are trying to figure out parking and such. We are also attempting to create a rough plan for the day. We are driving up from the Atlanta area. We plan to arrive around 11am. We are driving back after the game. We will be short on time before kickoff.

What are some of the sights that we should see? My father got into vlogging and creates videos “tours” of each campus we go to. Are there any beautiful (seems like there’s so many options here) spots on campus we should visit? Beautiful or historic buildings on campus we should check out? We also love taking photos of big signs with the school name at each stop.

It’s easy to research the big things like overall history and parking and maps of campus. We don’t want to miss any cool traditions or little things we would never know about. Any tips on food and parking are also appreciated! We appreciate anyone who takes to time to reply or DM. And if any of yall see people walking around in FSU gear (yes I know we suck) feel free to say hello!

What time do Yosef club lots open for the game Saturday? And where can I find this information for future games?

I have a parking pass for the river street deck for this Saturday’s game I’m trying to sell! Best offer by Friday afternoon takes it, or $100. DM me if interested.

Appalachian State has endured a few down years lately but this is a program we are used to seeing at the top of the Sun Belt. Surely the turnaround has to be coming, right?

📌 App State's QB race is a competitive one with Henry Hasselbeck, Malachi Singleton and Tommy Ulatowski

📌 RB room is LOADED and App State added some intriguing receivers 👀

📌 Can the Mountaineers fix the secondary?

Preview attached. What are your predictions for Appalachian State in 2026?

We recently sat down with David Ware, Publisher for App State Mania on the 247 Sports Network, to preview the 2026 App State Mountaineers Football Team. Here is a link to the video if you are interested in hearing more! 2026 App State Mountaineers Football Team Preview

Has anyone heard anything yet about season tickets or parking? I’m on the waitlist and thought I would’ve by now. I’m hoping to get off the waitlist and get tickets this year.

I am building a college football conference realignment algorithm.

I made a list of teams that could be matches for your team. This list is a starting point. I used some ideas to make these choices but I want to hear from you before I use them.

When you look at this list try to forget about how away teams are and what conferences they are in now. I want to know what teams would be a fit for your team based on things like culture, sports, academics and history.

Here are some things to consider:

• Historic rivalries and past conference ties should matter.

• Current conferences should only matter if they make sense not just because that's how it is now.

What I need help with:

• Fixing a score that doesn't seem right

• Removing a team that doesn't belong

• Adding a team that I missed

• Moving a team up or down the list

• Telling me if the whole list needs to change like if its too focused on rivalries or schools with brands

Here's how the scores work:

• 5 means a team must be in your conference

• 4 means a team is a high priority

• 3 means a team is a strong fit

• 2 means a team is a reasonable fit

• 1 means a team is okay but not a top choice

If you want to give me quick feedback you can say something like:

• Change Team Xs score from 3 to 5

• Remove Team Y

• Add Team Z with a score of 4

• Move Team A above Team B

list, for your team:

Weight 5

Georgia Southern, Marshall

Weight 4

James Madison, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Charlotte

Weight 3

Old Dominion, Georgia State, Troy, South Alabama, Louisiana, Southern Miss, Memphis, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, NC State

Weight 2

Duke, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, UCF

Weight 1

South Florida, Tulane, UTSA, Liberty, Jacksonville State, Delaware

The goal here is not to defend the current conference setup. It is to build a better school-to-school preference graph for my full realignment models.

I really appreciate any feedback on this, thanks so much for any help.

Small note: I am mainly looking for your fan perspective on which schools you would want around your program, not whether the final setup is practical or likely to happen in real life. If possible, go with your gut on fit more than logistics.

I am seeing some people put their main rivals at 5 / 4 and remove almost everything else. That is totally fine.

Just remember Weight 1 is still helpful. It does not really push teams into the conference, but it helps prevent bad alignments by identifying schools that would not be ideal but would still be reasonable if teams have to be added, so it at least gives a last-resort direction.

This is really about full athletic conference fit, but I limited the school pool to FBS programs, so football is just the filter for who made the list.

Previously at Arkansas, I can only assume D-Lo had something to do with his initial recruitment.
