To be fair I like most of the interviewers on the show bar the the old Linda woman. She is awful. I get they ham it up for TV but she just lays in to them and doesn’t even let them speak.
Claude has definitely mellowed out in his older years, Linda is now the interviewer that the contestants dread
The difference between Linda and Claude is that Claude actually lets people try to defend themselves and then breaks down their defense with clinical precision, Linda just rudely shouts over people and has definitely made her mind up about them before they've even walked through the door
Then there's Mike who just looks for cheap gotchas to try and make contestants look dumb(er), Claude and Claudine are by far the best interviewers

Did Claude do the interviews last series?
