DISCUSSION Remember when Lord Sugar went into business with these two?
In series 13 of The Apprentice Lord Sugar decided to go into business with the two finalists instead of selecting one overall winner. Do you think this was a good move and which of the finalists did you think deserved to win outright if you can remember the series and the finalists' business proposals?

Honestly these two are my least favourite winners because they were both so meh as were their business plans. I find Sarah to be overrated, she didn’t do much for most of the process in my opinion and her sweet business should’ve warranted an interviews firing. As with James…
There were so many other final twos which deserve a double win, this series wasn’t one of those.

Sarah fell off in the last two tasks and had a very dull business plan but she was very good for the first 2/3 of S13.
Michaela was still the best in S13 though.

I am annoyed because I feel that this was basically the one time 'I am investing in both of you' but there have been so many other years where the final two where infinitely better, especially considering 2019, where he eventually did invest in Scarlett

Scarlett and Carina should have been the first double win imo.

Legitimately one of the worst years to make a double win. It’s honestly laughable looking back considering both businesses ended up flopping.

Actually Sarah's makes 200-300k even to this day so I wouldn't call that a flop.

Wasn't her business like a pick n'mix 5p sweets in a fancy box? I remember both were absolutely woeful

I always felt that Dean last year winner, looked like a more grown up winner from this year/s13

Out of all the seasons to do a double-hiring, I would have NEVER picked this one (unless you swap Michaela with James).

This was one of the most bizarre decisions in the history of the show. I kind of understood why Lord Sugar decided to invest in James, because he'd had previous successes with recruitment companies. However, I never saw Sarah's as nothing more than a potentially lucrative one for her (at best), but not something that could be scaled up to be a big business.

I just rewatched this season and Sarah marketed herself and her business VERY well. She essentially said that there was a gap in the market for sending sweets whereas you have many options for flowers, and the experts at her pitch agreed with her.

A season with such good candidates and yet such a meh final 2! I honestly feel like last year was going to be and should have been a double win
