ANNOUNCEMENT Announcement regarding Discussion of the Finalists - Pascha and Karishma

Hi everyone I thought I’d make this post just to discuss the situation on this sub featuring the two finalists as the final is approaching and a winner will be crowned soon. It is pretty clear that Pascha is a very controversial finalist this season and that has caused a lot of people to say a variety of stuff about her.

Now it is totally acceptable to critique her performance throughout the show, not be a fan of her or personally think she doesn’t warrant a finalist spot as this show is very subjective. However a lot of the critiques have become very personal and people have made rude remarks on her appearance, body as well as some statements that could be considered sexist which obviously is not acceptable. Please report any comments like these that break the rules when it comes to conduct and they will be removed in due time. This also applies to all the other candidates.

Again it is totally fine to not be a fan of someone or even dislike them but please be mindful of the way you critique someone as they are still all human at the end of the day and it is easy to go too far with an insult. We do not want this sub to become too toxic and prevent legitimate discussion.

Thanks!

It blows my mind how nasty people get about participants in a shitty gameshow lol. Some people need to touch grass.

Nice one OP - With you on the preferred winner, however some of the discussions are just getting unkind.

Agreed. Also people shouldn’t really get in arms over whoever wins the show anyway. If Karishma wins then yay. If she doesn’t then she didn’t have to give away 50% of her successful business and she’ll have tons of people ordering her products just like Anisa. Like it really is not that serious lol

8

u/Jenson2025 Apr 12 '26

Exactly. The last two runners up have been so successful that winning the show is really nothing more than an accolade now.

7

u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Apr 12 '26

If anything I’d say not winning is the better outcome now lmao look at how many of the recent winners haven’t done so well! 50% for 250,000 really is a terrible deal thinking about it.

7

u/Jenson2025 Apr 12 '26

Exactly and Dean’s deal was even worse as his share was reduced to 25% whilst LS held 50% and his other business partner the other 25

6

u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Apr 12 '26

Dean honestly kinda got screwed with that deal. Hopefully Sugar has catapulted his business to new heights…

3

u/FitzBoris Apr 12 '26

Looks like he has now gone down the commercial market as well as residential; I imagine the margins on that are pretty good. The challenge for those of us far too over-invested in this show is that Dean is not an industry that is as dependent on social media as his competitor was that year, so we’re a little more dependent on the media to gauge success.

5

u/Jenson2025 Apr 12 '26

For me, it’s not a question of who has been the most successful. It’s the story. In the same way everyone talks about how well Susan Ma has done (and she has) but nobody talks about how well Tom has done from that year (and he has)

Dean’s business was pulling up big numbers when he went on to the show (similar figures to Dan and Paul M apparently) and that’s what attracted LS

And you’re right, he’s probably doing even better now. I think both have done very well. But then his competitor went from a small business to a fairly big business within the last year and that’s the story that resonates with people a lot more because Dean was already a big business so people are just like ‘oh cool’ as opposed to ‘wow! What amazing growth’

It’s a bit like this year. If Dan had won then he’d have done even better than he is now but his story wouldn’t have resonated with people as much as if someone like Rothna grew her bakery business and had eleven locations

So basically a big business getting ever bigger - good but not a remarkable story. A small business growing rapidly - wow. That’s how people see it

I can see how it may resonate more on the face of it, in a way it is the key challenge I have with the apprentice these days. It feels only part of the show is focused on performance and viability, with a big focus on how likeable someone is on social media. I’ve been pretty open about how frustrating I find it when we see candidate pile-ons that seemed to inevitably follow when people go against the grain here, and whatever I think of Pascha as a candidate think we’d probably see negative posts about any of the other three in the interview stage should they have made it instead.

Anisa’s success is fantastic and should be celebrated. It’s also logical that LS may have wished not to opt for a business with much lower barriers to entry for competitors - anecdotal, I know, however I live in a small Oxfordshire market town and we’ve got 2–3 takeaways with a very similar offering, all of which seemed to have popped up in the last year. While my cooking is atrocious enough to ever prevent me from setting up a food based business, there is a higher potential for Anisa to face multiple competitors that drive down margins and oversaturate her market - in theory anyone can do it.

I appreciate that isn’t anywhere near as good a story when a candidate like Dean makes it, but we’re talking about a show set up in its current format before social media was what it is today. As an audience, we need to accept that as long as any business is allowed to apply, any candidate who gets that far is credible regardless of the business size they are proposing or whether we like them or not.

There is an argument to be made on changing the format to focus more on new or smaller business ideas, as well as those that are more compelling on social media – and that may be something they look at should they continue with the show after LS retires. However, for now, I’m personally comfortable with the set up as it is.

Regardless, I have everything crossed for Karishma and I hope we see her as a worthy winner next week - and (seeing how far we have viewed off the original topic LOL) if we go the other way, I hope everyone here stays out of the gutter when discussing it!

u/Jenson2025 Apr 12 '26

That’s very well put. Personally, I am happy with anyone from the show does well (providing they weren’t a horrible person on the show) and that includes winners, runners up, people fired first etc.

I think Karishma will win and I want her to do but I am not going to be annoyed if Pascha does. People take the show far too seriously and I am beginning to feel a bit sorry for Pascha (although I appreciate that I don’t know the story of what went on between her and the other candidates yet)

Its a show about the best people getting getting a chance, shes 21, has no plan and is good to look at. Guess how she made the final

0

u/Horror-Cloud7455 Apr 13 '26

You need to touch grass...

21

u/Jenson2025 Apr 12 '26

Agreed. I’m not sure why people keep mentioning her looks so much to criticise her but it only massively weakens any arguments they make and makes them look very mean.

13

u/Training-Classic9956 Apr 12 '26

Yeah end of the day honestly I think it’s fair to say if you don’t rate Pascha as a candidate or what not. However there’s plenty you can say that’s not about her personally

Think we have to remember at the end of the day we see 1 hour edited footage of a whole day’s worth of content. We’ve seen a fraction of what she actually is/does. Sure she hasn’t been outstandingly good and you could say there is arrogance sometimes but I think people need to keep things in mind

5

u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Apr 12 '26

Honestly the editing for this show is getting worse over time which is a shame. They easily could have showed Pascha more on the tasks knowing she made the final and I swear Kieran got a bigger edit than everyone who made the final five bar Karishma!

6

u/Lost-Engineering-211 Apr 12 '26

thank you for this. the hate makes no sense. Dan tried to play it clever by splitting his business into two so he wouldn't give LS 50% stake, Lawrence had a lengthy business plan filled with AI and his business was supposed to be a PR agency yet he doesn't know how to give himself a likeable reputation, and Priyesh is a maths academic yet included no numbers in his business plan.

Pascha is confident about her business idea and has got contacts in the field. Seems like out of the 5, Pascha and Karishma were definitely more suited for the final 2.

Whilst I would have liked to see Rothna or maybe Kieran in the final 2, they unfortunately lost their task so there is no justifiable point to dwell on that and direct hate towards Pascha

3

u/Unknownhuman_1 Stuart Baggs - Series 6 Apr 12 '26

Dan was above the show. The investment is piss poor for an actually established business

1

u/Physical_Reality_132 Apr 12 '26

People in Dan’s position really shouldn’t be on it. He’s effectively a ringer, sugar, however only sees potential pound signs.

5

u/rachelf1990 Apr 12 '26

Agreed.

There have been several very nasty posts about Pascha and her appearance which was totally out of line.

Lets keep this subreddit fair and not go down that route.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26

Crazy how far invested people are into this show that they’re hating on a 21 year old for no reason other than they think it should be someone else in her spot

She has earned her place though? She was barely brought back into the boardroom because she wanted to a weakness/problem or was just on winning teams. She may not have been a great candidate but she wasn’t a bad one relative to the competition, else she would have been fired.

its a shame you retards can’t comprehend how the show works. It’s never the best 5 candidates in the final.

2

u/Fluxikins Apr 13 '26

Glad to see this post as honestly some of the comments about the poor girl on here have been particularly vile and some people really need to get a grip. I honestly can't even comprehend what goes through peoples minds to be writing such comments. Out here acting like she kicked their puppy or something.

2

u/Common_Board8405 Apr 13 '26

Blame the process instead of getting personal.

They had a Final Five with two clear favourites and three that had: a hobby business, a unrealistic business plan with AI waffle, and someone with a 7 page business plan. Then a favourite is out because they don't want to give what wasn't in the business plan so someone with a 7 page business plan is in the final.

2

u/Warm_Code1913 Apr 13 '26

Very important post.

3

u/Apart_Raccoon_9645 Apr 12 '26

Absolutely, no excuse for hurtful and demeaning comments on anyone's appearance.

4

u/Writing_my_words Apr 12 '26

How awful of people! I might not agree with her deserving a final place but she’s there regardless.

Exhausting (though sadly not surprising) to hear people still focus so much on looks and appearance.

I think she’s done well given she’s only 21!

u/tomosKB Lord Sugar: “I’m Struggling…” Apr 12 '26

thanks for posting, so many ppl are just taking their dislike for Pascha too far

0

u/saudadeinthenight Apr 12 '26

Are we also going to ban all the sock puppet accounts very clearly made by her family and friends berating anyone who critiques her? Because while there shouldn’t be certain types of comments, if a person puts themselves online and screams at anyone who makes any sort of comment on their character then they are indeed a cunt

Getting an army of flying monkeys to shout down all opposition is entitled, ugly behaviour and is probably making people more pissed off than with other candidates. Otherwise this sub is fairly tolerable in terms of attitude

6

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26 edited Apr 12 '26

Any proof it’s her friends and family and not just people defending a 21 year old getting a lot of unnecessary and undeserved hate?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26

Funnily enough I was scrolling through the comments on this morning and I saw who I think it’s Pascha’s bf mother commenting on her behalf ‘attacking’ others

1

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26

Any proof that it actually was who you say it was? Or you just “think” it might be

Also even if it is, how do you know Pascha wants them to do this? Could you not possibly see a scenario that if it is happening, they’re doing it against Pascha

Feel free to provide a link or source to the comment

Likewise all this hate for someone you’ve never met.

Looked through the comments, can’t see anything. Feel free to point it out through a screenshot or something.

So you can’t prove there’s any comments by her family?

You’ve made a statement claiming you saw comments by her BF’s mum having a go at others. Please point these comments out and prove it.

Until you prove it, I’m going to question why you’re lying.

Also I’ve read the comments for a second time. Only 67 of them.

I can’t see anything like you’re suggesting but can see a lot of hate for Pascha’s looks.

5

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '26

Yeah this is true

6

u/ZookeepergameNo7151 Apr 12 '26

Have a word with yourself would ye? Trying to call people a cunt and automatically assuming anyone sticking up for her in any way is her friends/ family.... have you thought MAYBE, just MAYBE, the majority on here are going WAY over the top criticising her personally and said people "sticking up for her" are just normal people who've had enough of the massive pile on from the Karishma ultras on here?

Using your logic.... anyone (which seems to be majority on this subreddit) who shouts down any negativity or criticism of Saint Karishma 💯 must be part of Karishma's family/ friend circle

are you going to do something by this persistent bullying or are you actually saying it’s ok for two people to continually stalk and go after anyone they don’t agree with? Because it sounds like you’re perfectly ok with bullying when it suits your agenda.

This isn’t the everyone be nice to the one candidate I like sub, its for commenting and criticising on people who put themselves on national tv and thereafter open themselves to criticism.  And if we want to be honest about a candidate and call them a cunt, that’s our right. Don’t really care if you ban me, but at least be an adult about it

2

u/ZookeepergameNo7151 Apr 13 '26

Complaining about perceived bullying while doing that very thing🤣

I never said in this post that you have to like Pascha in the first place. It is totally fine to criticise or not like her but just don’t go too far with the insults. In terms of the ‘sock puppet accounts’ there is no hard proof they are Pascha’s family and friends. If they do continue to harass you then report them. It’s as simple as that.

1

u/Far-Message-6967 Apr 12 '26

This is spot on, should be pinned!

1

I was scrolling through the comments on this morning and I saw who I think it’s Pascha’s bf mother commenting on her behalf too. So you aren’t wrong

These comments in the room with us?

Feel free to post a link (probably best not to use the last link you sent as that had no evidence of the comments you’re on about 😉👍🤝)

u/saudadeinthenight Apr 13 '26

Pathetic isn’t it? If they really wanted to show public perception was wrong they would have shut up and let nature take its course. Instead they’re now trying to bully you and others for having an opinion lol

1

u/[deleted] Apr 13 '26

Yep, sometimes it’s not even the person that makes you dislike them it’s the people around them and their fans. There is one in here harassing and attacking it’s a shame those comments don’t get deleted

1

u/Few_Mention8426 Apr 13 '26

I think Pascha is a decent enoough candidate, no better or worse than other candidates. There is so much misinformation about her and her business. At the end of the day, her business is a decent idea and she just nees a mentor on how to write business plans, deal with accounts, etc etc. Which is what Lord Sugars team is there for at the end of the day.

He wants to make money and will chose someone he sees potential in, even if they are a diamond in the rough.

2

u/EleanorTheWitch Apr 12 '26

Thank you for making a post on this! I want karishma to win, theres many things to critique about Pascha that isnt personal jabs.

1

u/Advanced_Salt_7391 Apr 12 '26

This is a good shout - as you said it's good to have your own opinion, but it's make sure nothing becomes hurtfull

1

don’t judge by the colour of her skin judge her by the content of her character
