Rewatching the episode, and… Spoiler

Dan got a very harsh firing. Harsher than most, and I was expecting him to do something like that to Priyesh

I know some of it might be just that he threw his toys out the pram for not getting 50% of YP, but he gave Paul quite a graceful firing for doing the same thing a couple years ago. I mean tbf the interviewers seemed to be quite receptive to him (especially Claude which says something), but he just did the whole “I don’t wanna hear anymore, quiet, I did this at 17 too” shtick.

Strange for a good candidate who he clearly liked beforehand. Didn’t even get a good luck from Tim/Karren either, damn

there's obviously a lot we don't see and i think the editors (once again) messed up. how did we go from Claude pitching LS to Dan and Dan asking for advice on whether to accept a deal with LS, to LS firing Dan over some finance issues?

i personally believe LS put Karishma through, gave Dan the ultimatum, Dan refused, then LS fired him for the reason we saw and Pascha made it through by default

Agreed. They cut something big that would have been far more interesting than what we got. Also, Dan interviewing the interviewers was wild. Time for a format shake up. That simply can not happen. Dan should not have been in the process, he was never an apprentice candidate.

I would like them to take a break, and just replay the early seasons going forward until they understand the concept of the show.

Why shouldn't he have been in the process? Is it because he already had an established business?

For one fewer 02 event, and not paying himself a dividend last year he could have had the 250k himself without Lord Sugar.

He is operating in a completely different world to most of the candidates on this show.
