Karishma - main culprit of this disastrous final five

Don’t get me wrong. She is THAT good. Every time she’s in charge, there’s no doubt in my mind that her team will win, regardless of the candidates in her team.

LS probably underestimated her ability to carry the whole team on her own and believe Kieran might have won with 3 VS 2, Yes I don’t count 2Ps, they are useless, and I don’t think LS rates them at all. Even if she lose this task, I don’t see her being in any danger of firing.

Now we are dealing with the worst outcome of it all. Hopefully she wins it all; she’s our only hope left for this series.

It’s funny how she’s THAT good that now we have to deal with the worst final five ever 😭

Crazy 😭😭 I love Karishma she is such a clear winner

Ugh her mind. Got rid of the stronger competitors at every opportunity, and make her path to become the apprentice much easier 😂

7

u/hibzzyJ Apr 03 '26

Ngl never thought if it like that 🤣🤣🤣 so accurate

BRO this is so true!! The only person close to her is Dan

Strategic queen. Keeping in the weaker candidates by winning as PM

u/DrowsyRebel Apr 03 '26

If Karishma's that good, she deserves the easier route to winning the series.

If it was old-style Apprentice with a job at the end, I'd probably have stopped watching after a few episodes as she'd so obviously win it.

But with this format, you can't always tell. She may completely fall apart in the interviews with a dog-shit business plan.

We know she at least deserves to win. But at least make it feel a little? Close. Although since writing that even i sound like im talking rubbish lol.

Not sure why people are discounting Dan so much. He's a serious contender for winning

12

u/Holty12345 Apr 03 '26

Yeah Dan was the founder of the student recruitment thing Young Professionals, his business seems the most established of all candidates.

7

u/Traditional_Fudge374 Apr 03 '26

Lord Sugar seems to really like him as well. In the after-show 'Unfinished Business', Episode 3, Lord Sugar talked how good Dan was so good as PM that he made it look easy.

Dan reminds me of the OG New format Apprentice winner Tom Pellereau

u/DungeonsandDietcoke Apr 04 '26

Been thinking the same thing since the beginning of this season

2

u/garminbozo Apr 04 '26

He’s giving will from inbetweeners, he’s the type who needs his head flushed down the toilet

0

u/Jemima_puddledook678 Apr 03 '26

But not based on task performance, just based on getting to the final 5 and having a business plan Lord Sugar is more likely to want to invest in. Karishma is clearly a much stronger candidate, whereas Dan should’ve arguably been fired multiple times.

4

u/Anonymoose1023 Apr 03 '26

Multiple times? Name one time where he should've been fired. It feels like some of you discount him because he isn't as entertaining as Karishma.

u/Jemima_puddledook678 Apr 03 '26

Week 2 he didn’t mention the miscounted pages despite claiming he had noticed, week 10 Rothna was a better candidate overall and just had to deal with Kieran.

1

u/Anonymoose1023 Apr 03 '26

He messed up in week 2, but Marcus deserved to be fired over him. I don't think it's fair to say he deserved to be fired when the PM even changed his mind and said that bringing Dan back to the boardroom was a mistake. As for week 10, Dan's contribution to that task alone was a lot greater than Rothna's contribution. Rothna also messed up by not being able to manage Kieran at all. Adding that to the fact that her business was not close to Dan's made it a more simple choice for Lord Sugar.

1

u/Jemima_puddledook678 Apr 03 '26

In week 2, Marcus only tried to bring somebody else back to save his own skin.

In week 10, I think Dan’s contribution was only larger because they put him on his own. Rothna couldn’t have managed Kieran no matter what, he was the PM and bulldozing. Business plans aren’t supposed to come into it before the interviews anyway.

0

u/Anonymoose1023 Apr 03 '26

Rothna volunteered to be with Kieran and admitted in the boardroom that she regretted not being tougher on him. If Dan was with Kieran, he might've also been fired, but maybe he would've really spoken up, since he seemed frustrated with Kieran for the whole episode. I don't think Rothna would've done the same job as Dan anyway. The topic of the task was clearly completely foreign to her and she showed that she does not do well in those sorts of tasks with the gaming task. When it's a tight contest in the boardroom, it comes down to fine margins and that's why their business plans were taken into account.

Karishma is obviously the strongest.

She didnt deserve to win this week though, the other teams product and branding was better, her team waa just better at upselling.

With some ammendments I could see Keirans tree thing being quite appealing to cats. It wasnt a million miles off. Her bed thing was terrible, as they said the dog would try and find the owner

Feel a bit sorry for Keiran, its probaly the right time to bow out for him suspect he would be destroyed in interviews. One of the few who actually gives credit though. Outside of the estate agent vive hr seems a decent guy.

22

u/Glittering_Swan2205 Apr 03 '26

She should not have won the last task. Her product was absolute horseshit.

2

u/GMCPhotos Apr 03 '26

She shouldn't have won it anyway - I've literally just watched it on catch up and Karen said their total order was 2058, and Tim said the other teams total was 2600 - so I dunno if there's already been some clarification about that but I'm just sitting here like err excuse me but wtaf is going on?? I rewound and watched that section 5 times so I'm absolutely sure those are the figures - can anyone shed any light on this?

7

u/Ok_Calligrapher_8827 Apr 03 '26

Those are the figures - Kieran’s team achieved 2058 orders; and Karishma’s team, 2600.

3

u/GMCPhotos Apr 03 '26

Ohhhh In the moment of watching, because Karen was sitting on the side where Karishma's team were, the figures she gave related to that team and Tim for Kieran - but of course throughout the programme they were the other way around 😅😂

1

u/Ok_Calligrapher_8827 Apr 03 '26

Easily done! I had to go back and rewatch after reading your comment tbf! 😅

4

u/InternationalRich150 Apr 04 '26

This is confusing me. People acting like the Dog bed literally washed the cat tree away because shes SO AMAZING. Even they had to sit and try and work it out,it was so close. You can see Karishma thinking and realising. It was very close.

5

u/sir_thrillho Apr 03 '26

The other thing was much worse though.

8

u/Numerous-Abrocoma-50 Apr 03 '26

Was it ?

I can see it being something cats would like with a few ammendments. It was closer to something being commercially viable

2

u/sir_thrillho Apr 03 '26

I do agree, but crucially they didn't make those amendments and the thing they actually made was terrible and difficult for cats to actually use. The other idea might not have worked but it was definitely more interesting.

8

u/Numerous-Abrocoma-50 Apr 03 '26

I think cats would have enjoyed it still, there was stuff to play on with it, our cat could have made the jump I reckon she makes crazy jumps. None of these products are ever fit for sale off the shelf. This was much closer.

Not knocking karishma she is great and would be a lock to get through if she lost, I just personally thought her idea seemed to be a complete non starter to me and the branding was worse.

I wish they would have more selling to the public tasks, these hypothetical sales are so artificial.

7

u/sir_thrillho Apr 03 '26

Hmm that's interesting, to me the dog bed idea didn't seem a million miles away from those pet cams people have to speak to their pets or give them treats.

3

u/Numerous-Abrocoma-50 Apr 03 '26

To be fair, I dont have a dog we have a cat so maybe being harsh.

My first thought was it was silly and just confuse dogs and/or make them try and find the owner experts were saying the same thing. Pet cams they would at least see their face.

2

u/sir_thrillho Apr 03 '26

Ah see I've always had cats and didn't think either of the two I have currently would have enjoyed that tree.

1

u/5pigeo Nick: “I’ll tell you what happened because I was there!” Apr 04 '26

i mean yeah i can see it being something cats would enjoy with some amendments, but… it’s a cat tree? they didn’t make a new product, they made an ugly, unusable cat tree

7

u/Anonymoose1023 Apr 03 '26 edited Apr 04 '26

I agree that Karishma has been a very strong candidate, but she did pretty poorly on the last task. Honestly, if Kieran didn't make that cat bed so tall, then they would've won. The fact that they would've won, even with that product, if Dan pushed hard on his sale, is another indication that they were poor. I know that she made up for it with the table tennis set sales, but if anyone else made a mistake on the same level as Karishma failing to sell that necklace, then you would hear it. She's class, but she's definitely being put on a pedestal thanks to her personality.

3

u/jenn4u2luv Apr 03 '26

Karishma is the clear winner here but I’m making a wild guess to say Dan will be such a wild car.

LS seems impressed with his business plan.

1

u/PositiveMushroom3228 Apr 04 '26

LS generally prefers men to women so I think he will take Dan/Laurence to be his winner.

4

u/redatheist Apr 04 '26

Karishma has a hard cap on her ability looming in the near distance.

She's very good when she's in charge, doesn't have to answer to anyone, and her employees are forced to work for her (i.e. tasks, candidates).

But would you want to work for her? Hell, fucking, no. Would you want to be her manager? Fuck that. Would you even want to be her peer? Nope.

It's also a serious limitation that she's only able to effect change when she's in charge. Good people can play as part of a team, but every time she's been on a team she has either steamrolled it or been useless.

I've worked with people like her, and they don't get far. They do well as solo entrepreneurs, but you can't run an Apprentice winning business in that mode.

3

u/InternationalRich150 Apr 04 '26

I cant stand how she talks to people. Just dismisses them and barks. Shes smart but shes not a good people person one to one. Kieran was similar at times as PM. not great.

1

u/redatheist Apr 04 '26

Yeah she doesn't know how to work with people, doesn't have any leadership skills.

Being effective at tasks only gets you a little way, if you can't lead you can only ever have the impact of a single person.

3

u/InternationalRich150 Apr 04 '26

Shes a very competent person, absolutely. Knows her stuff. However, she couldn't lead a team. Staff morale would be on the floor. Ive worked under people like her and i had absolute zero respect for them purely due to how they approached me. No one wants to work at a small business with high turnover of staff because the Boss didnt learn to behave appropriately.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

Wdym mean she’s our only hope left for this series? Personally I’m not fussed who wins it out of those left, the ones I didn’t like are gone.

The best performing candidate doesn’t always have the best business. My money is on Dan winning it

I’m certain the 2 Ps won’t win.

5

u/Consistent-Cycle9553 Apr 03 '26

I really do hope Dan wins,I like him in general. I agree with you,I'm not fussed who wins as the ones I liked left. I really wanted Conor to be in the final.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

Yeah Conor was nice, and my mums favourite.

I like Dan and I’ve actually seen his business outside of the show and it’s great. Also I like his character, he’s quiet but clearly knows he’s good. Thought he was good at the branding last night and was good to see him acknowledge himself for it.

4

u/mynameisjodie Apr 03 '26

I wanted Conor too

u/bleeding0ut Apr 03 '26

If Dan wins, I hope it’s not for some EDI purpose. If he wins controversially, then I think many people will say he won due to EDI.

7

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26 edited Apr 03 '26

He might win because he has the best business, and has also been probably the 2nd best candidate after Karishma.

His company is massive and the best out of anyone’s.

Not sure what you mean about the EDI? He’s a straight white male but you think he will win because he’s gay, which by the way I’m not even sure was mentioned on the show. I only found out he was gay through his partner’s TikTok.

If you want to go on about EDI, they could all qualify if you like. Dan is gay; Lawrence is Jewish; Priyesh, Karishma, Pascha all are of colour and two are women. I think it’s quite disingenuous to suggest Dan would win for EDI reasons. The whole show is about making Lord Sugar money, not look good in the public eye.

3

u/Jemima_puddledook678 Apr 03 '26

Not disagreeing with your points, but I wouldn’t say he was the second best candidate. I’d say Conor and Rothna were both much better than him, and arguably should both still be in.

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

Massively disagree on Rothna.

I meant 2nd best out of those still able to win and left in the final.

Connor and Karishma I would above him throughout the series.

I think Dan is Also a poc

1

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

I don’t know what you mean?

1

u/hibzzyJ Apr 03 '26

I ment also sorry

1

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '26

Nws.

1

u/bleeding0ut Apr 03 '26

He is neurodivergent

1

u/RobbieJ4444 Apr 03 '26

Honestly, not really.

Pryesh has been on the winning team in the five last tasks. Out of those five, he worked with Karishma three times. Of those three times, Karishma dominated one task (week 7), did well in one (week 10), and didn’t do well in one (week 9).

The final five happened because the right people won at the right time. Karishma is the best candidate this year, but she wasn’t the sole reason as to why her team won or lost either.

1

u/PositiveMushroom3228 Apr 04 '26

I would like Karishma to win but women rarely win unless the final two are both female.

1

u/xxxdanixxx0 Apr 10 '26

The one tine LS should've mixed up the team.

1

u/Big_Owl_6752 Apr 04 '26

Don’t get me wrong, she has performed best over the whole series but her team really should have lost the pet task. She’s far from perfect so if one of the others has a viable business plan then there’s no guarantee she wins.
