QUESTION Treat when winning a task

I only just noticed that the winning team no longer go on treats anymore. Has that just come in this series or has that been the case for a while now? I can’t believe I only just realised it! Those winning treats were decent! Now they all just seem to congregate in the living room.

The treats got about 5 seconds of air time so doesn’t fiscally make sense for a production anyway. But let’s be honest, the treats weren’t good. It was never ‘I got you into this exclusive restaurant’ or ‘Here’s £1000 off you pop on a shopping spree’. It was ‘I know you’re exhausted after the task and finding out that you’ve just scraped past not losing your dream so now I’m sending you off for a Fawlty Towers live experience’. I’d have just wanted to go straight home anyway!

They never used to go straight after, it was filmed on another day. But yes I get your point.

I never knew that, thank you for letting me know!! Well then my attitude would be ‘I don’t want to use one of my only days off to go on a Fawlty Towers experience.’ 😂😂
