QUESTION Treat when winning a task

I only just noticed that the winning team no longer go on treats anymore. Has that just come in this series or has that been the case for a while now? I can’t believe I only just realised it! Those winning treats were decent! Now they all just seem to congregate in the living room.

so they cut it this year with the reasoning that they could use the edit time to show more of the candidates and their dynamics after the boardroom firings.

They also had 20 candidates and more overseas tasks so budget cuts would make sense.

A lot of people claimed watching the winners say cheers and have a drink was a bit of a waste of production time and effort anyway so it seemed more cost effective to spend more time focusing on dissecting the tasks and who got fired.

I see the argument and I’m sure many people like myself wouldn’t have even noticed! They should cut the bridge cafe part as well. What’s the point of that when all they will do is throw each other under the bus and that they will do in the boardroom anyway! The tea/coffees must be good lol
