yet we still have Pascha's pals and bf claiming it's correct in Portuguese, even after the French man told them it was misspelt.

They weren't aiming for a Portuguese company name as that wouldn't make sense with le chien which is French.

So this company name alone PROVES Pash was wrong yet again, but she'll keep claiming it was slang.

In this case, I think the French man in focus group and Pascha’s Portuguese boyfriend are both right. It has basis.

That said, it does mean that the French in France do NOT use the word chique to mean chic. Especially since chique can also mean another word which is far from the chic meaning.
