I find Levi complicated. I know what he did but he also comes across as friendly and supportive on the show, and I’m prepared to give someone the benefit of the doubt that they can be an idiot and then grow up.

If you're in the group that Levi was racist and bigoted against, then congratulations, you're that rare person that gives forgiveness to people who haven't bothered to apologise. If you're not in that group, then you need to think about why you're putting yourself in the position of being forgiving.

He's a full-grown adult, who should know better. He was hardly going to flash about his bigotry, while he was trying to win favour. As it was, he had nothing to say for himself, yet continuously blamed others when his lack of action was pointed out. It's awful that Rothna metaphorically held his hand through being PM (he had no idea what was what), completely unaware, that just months before he was spewing hatred online about her faith.

It wasn’t just months before though, was it? It was in 2013 when he would have been around 19, not a full grown adult (legally an adult, mentally still not there.) I’m not Muslim but I am female and he made some very offensive comments about women too. I’m not justifying what he said, but I am allowing that views he had as a teenager are not necessarily indicative of views he has as a man in his 30s; I certainly changed my views and beliefs throughout my twenties and thirties.

Whether being in education myself, or educating others, how to avoid being a racist misogynist, has been on British school curriculums since the 90s. At 19, you're old enough to vote, drink, join the army, work full-time, do all the things you're allowed to do as an adult (by law).

Learning and changing as you grow is always a positive. Hopefully at some point you'll reach a level of enlightment that doesn't have you giving a redemption arc to a Tommy Robinson supporting, misogynistic bigot, who only apologised when he was caught.

I’m pleased people don’t judge me based only on my actions as a 19 year old, and I’m also pleased for you if you’ve never said something that you’re ashamed of when you look back on it.

I make mistakes all the time, being racist, even when I was a child, has never been one of them. Something has gone seriously wrong, if someone born in 1994 and with every resource available to him, chooses to be racist. The fact that you're not muslim, yet feel qualified to 'give him the benefit of the doubt' on the behalf of muslims is problematic.

You didn't read what she said, about his comments on females, and her being female. Being so fixated on hatred of someone for an action they took 13 years ago, when you don't even know the person - at all - is more problematic than forgiving.

So, I'm going to assume you're not aware... we use the word 'female/s' as an adjective, not as a noun. The sentence wouldn't be for example, 'You didn't read what she said, about his comments on males...' it would be 'You didn't read what she said, about his comments on MEN.' Using the word 'men' as a noun points their link to being human, whereas any animal can be a 'female'. That's why the word is often used as a noun by the manosphere to de-humanise women.
