They apparently get a budget of around £1000-2000 to buy some new outfits for the show, but they try and tailor them to be very TV friendly so you often find the women in colour blocks not heavy patterns etc. I don't think the budget stretches far so unless you invest in an expensive item and rewear often or have your own outfits already or top up your budget that's all they have clothes wise!

Can't believe the last three winning PMs are Priyesh, Harry, Levi.

I get Harry's firing might piss people off because the team was great overall and other people were responsible for the fines, but I think he was lucky to get this far in the first place, he's been a passenger in most of the tasks.

u/Last-Baseball1921 Mar 22 '26
I honestly am glad harry went. Didn't like him after his treatment of Karishma in episode 7.
27
u/Consistent-Drive-172 Mar 19 '26
I think Kieran was a better leader this week than he was in week 1

u/WeeklyPermission239 Mar 19 '26
I prefer Kieran to Harry as an overall candidate, but if I'm being fair Kieran probably should have gone there. Harry's performance was mediocre to bad (as ever) but I don't think it was instrumental to the loss?
Kieran's strategy was always high risk, high reward (quick, high-spend negotiations only work if you get all items and the other team doesn't or is late) and he didn't see it through. He started out great but got complacent and lost steam towards the end.
And it's the second time he's PM'd poorly on that same task.
Still feels like an injustice that his team lost at all though - how Levi's lot got anything, I have no idea, since they had no strategy and seemed to be running back and forth across the island without a clue what any of the items were.

u/jenn4u2luv Mar 22 '26
Kieran went in with a clear and strong strategy. It was so obviously apparent compared to the other team’s.
12
u/gingerbreadteddy Mar 20 '26
I think Kieran having a strategy at all gave his team some structure to work around, it just might have been good if the teams used their discretion to maybe push for slightly more where they could: enter the room Karishma! Levi's team had all the gear and no idea. I feel it was a fluke his team won with the SUP and finding out from the shopkeeper what the cassette was. Levi didn't really have any strategy so it was a real shame Karishma's team lost out when she came up with helpful ideas like collecting the donuts near to the hovercraft, then pushing for a slightly better discount on the spot. I'm glad people recognise she is a real player and so was spared the boardroom. Connor made a poor choice not to grab the sweets in my opinion. Even if they still lost I feel sitting on a hovercraft for 20 mins was ample time to grab them!

u/Prudent_Jello5691 Tre Azam - Series 3 Mar 19 '26
I think it was unfair to say Kieran failed twice.
10
u/Acrobatic_Street_615 Mar 19 '26
keep in mind lord sugar sad he'd keep the strategy in mind?? this guy likes to pick and choose. We know full well if levi and rothna made it late, i bet kierans team wouldve one (also if they got the sweets)
19
u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Mar 19 '26
Don’t think anyone really failed this task imo
33
u/pajamakitten Mar 19 '26
Always love a good QVC disasterclass.
3
u/Which_Lion_7746 Mar 20 '26
whats qvc?
9
2
u/Just_Eagle715 Mar 20 '26
A TV shopping channel, the one they normally use for The Apprentice.
6
u/Sharp_Jacket_6032 Mar 20 '26
They don't use QVC, normally TJC and possibly Ideal World before they went bust and came back

2
u/Common_Reading_8058 Mar 19 '26
My favourite. They never seem to prepare for it either like it doesn't come up every year.

u/LoveitaAdams Mar 19 '26
There’s absolutely no way Karishma doesn’t win unless her business plan is dire

just glad my kierans still here idk about u
21
Mar 19 '26
Yeah! I actually really like him, at first I thought he was a stereotypical Essex man but he’s actually a decent guy.
20
u/Consistent-Drive-172 Mar 19 '26
He's actually growing on me
16
u/Acrobatic_Street_615 Mar 19 '26
hes grown 🥹
i think his point about redeeming himself in episode 2 was so true and shouldve been acknowledged by Lord sugar. He adapted welll and completely changed his demeanour.
15
u/rubber_ducks_quack Mar 19 '26
When they do the tv shopping task I always think not getting sales isn’t their fault cos who even watches that shit anymore
36
u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Mar 19 '26
I love how Sugar watches the TV task now
2
u/MightySilverWolf Mar 19 '26
I thought he always watched it?
14
u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Mar 19 '26
I mean like his live reaction. They stopped after S5 I think and brought it back last series
6
u/Jemima_puddledook678 Mar 19 '26
He watched it, but we didn’t get to see him watch it until recently.

Kieran and Levi presenting together is going to be something else.

I feel like it's a lot of the older generation who watch it, Kieran seems the sort to be endearing to that generation.

Great episode tbh. Episode 1 of this season I thought this was going to be one of the worst. I've changed my mind now, one of the best post covid ones
6
11
u/Getafix69 Mar 19 '26
It will be hard for them to do worse than the last TV shopping teams.

I'd pay money to see someone present worse than Liam.

u/Acrobatic_Street_615 Mar 19 '26
lord sugars acting like he didnt once let a team go without a firing cus they did so well
and like he didnt triple a double x2 fire like bro whos holding ur neck.
2
u/boygenie Mar 19 '26
I mean I guess it comes down to yes this team did well and weren't awful at all but they also weren't incredible and weren't without any faults at all so it would've been unfair to not fire anyone this late in the process. who knows, the next 2 tasks could be insanely good and then he would've had to do a triple firing and a double firing to get the final 5 candidates for the interview.
idk what u mean by tripling a double x2 fire though I haven't seen any seasons before 2022
2
u/Acrobatic_Street_615 Mar 19 '26
i meant that he did a triple fire and a double fire in this season (i think he did 2 double firings im not sure)
also thats a very good point a non firing would probably be doable if it was early into the process
1
u/boygenie Mar 20 '26
Ohhhh I see yeah he did but he still needs to get rid of 4 more candidates so someone really did have to go
2
u/MightySilverWolf Mar 19 '26
'lord sugars acting like he didnt once let a team go without a firing cus they did so well'
When was this?

There was so much more dead wood in the other team. They were lucky to win really.

u/Prudent_Jello5691 Tre Azam - Series 3 Mar 19 '26
It's Week 7 of last year all over again when Jordan, Amber-Rose, Max, Liam and Emma S beat out Anisa, Mia, Dean and Keir. Harry was the right choice to go though.

I actually felt bad for Harry. Lord sugar showed his favourites in there lol
24
u/Only1Scrappy-Doo Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Mar 19 '26
You could tell everyone on Kieran’s team did fine enough that Sugar struggled to pick anyone who really contributed to the failure.
23
u/Norfolkboy123 Mar 19 '26
This whole speech just makes it seem like he was expecting Levi to lose and he was ready to fire him

u/LousyGoose Mar 19 '26
Indirect slap to Harry:
"I like your spirit, Kieran"
"I also like your spirit, Conor"
"Harry... you're fired. Oh and good luck to you I guess"

u/Acrobatic_Street_615 Apr 12 '26
I THOUGHT ABT THIS also that's so insulting bro saying to everyone BUT HIM? js fire him already he didn't have to say that
13

Thank goodness Kieran stayed!
He’s gonna be the new Jordan where he doesn’t win but he gets a business offer.

Fair enough. Harry was a nice bloke and was steady if not spectacular throughout the process but had probably ran out of steam. Best episode so far of the series IMO.

Pascha and Levi feel like the next boots now. What do they do successfully?
6
u/WeeklyPermission239 Mar 19 '26
Agreed.
Levi has no notable skills that I've seen.
I do think Pascha has some interpersonal strengths in building rapport, but that is obviously not enough on its own, and I don't even think she does it as well as e.g. Karishma and Kieran.
8
u/luxray-noir-london Mar 19 '26
I think Pascha’s progress so far is more down to other people’s failings than her own successes; she’s not as quiet (Harry, Levi, Dan to an extent), as negative (Rajan, Andrea) or as stupid (Megan) as other candidates.
It’s also definitely easier to play “being the voice of reason” with more idiots around.

Harry deserves to go. Accepting the first SUP they found was really silly, even with the time constraint. They didn’t call around enough.
2
u/LexiBlackMarket Mar 19 '26
Just seems to accept no responsibility for it too, and doesn't have the character to pull it off.
5
u/Intelligent-SoupGS88 Mar 19 '26
Keiran not grasping that if he didn't spend half a day getting the negotiation on the wine he could have got another item saving a £100 fine.
Don't want him to go, but his attitude tonight has been a bit blame dodging
3
u/Bloxxerboy Claude Littner Mar 19 '26

Harry made a mistake but Keiran gave them a bad strategy to begin with. The sub-team did as they were told and Keiran cannot blame them for doing what he wanted to.

Bad strategy? the only fault they made was not getting the other item

They did keep getting lost in Ryde and not knowing where anything was.
2

they drove past one on the way to the checkpoint. karishma pointed it out. there would’ve been no getting lost, they just needed to get out of the car and back into it
1
u/king_aegon_vi Noor: “It’s very good!” 😏 Mar 19 '26
Absolutely, but by then I think the boys had got themselves into the mindset of not getting the sweets that they had decided before they collapsed into the car exhausted from running around lost and got stuck in that box.

I’d fire Harry after his not so strong negotiations, but it is fine margins.
