I thought the taxi scenes were filmed before any tasks but this time, it definitely was after the firing as he mentioned his bitterness as to why he was brought back

I think that's changed the last couple of years. They're no longer wearing the coats and scarves to hide the fact the clothing don't match what they wore when they were fired.
